How to Disable Facebook Timeline

How to disable Facebook Timeline and get old Facebook profile layout.

This method will not able to disable Facebook TImeline completely as it is mandatory for all Facebook users but at least you will be able to see and use old facebook profile layout, only for yourself.

Disable Facebook Timeline

Method 1 : Timeline Remove extension

- Install Timeline Remove extension for Firefox, Chrome, Internet Explorer : Disable Facebook Timeline with TimelineRemove

- Click on the timeline remove button

- Go to your profile page and Facebook Timeline will be disabled

Method 2 : Changing User Agent

- Firefox users can install User Agent Switcher and change user agent to Internet Explorer 6 or 7. After changing user agent, go to your Facebook profile and you are able to use old facebook profile layout instead of timeline.

- Simpler way; download Einsfox 10 with integrated User Agent Switcher, run it, press Alt > Menu > Tools > User Agent > Internet Explorer 6/7 and go to Facebook profile page.

- The final result is much the same as above screenshots (that’s my profile).

Method 3 : Social Fixer

- Social Fixer is a Facebook Tweaker extension for Firefox, Chrome, Opera and Safari

- Go to facebook profile, open Social Fixer options > Timeline > set to single column posts, hide cover photos, hide friends box and hide maps of check-ins.

- Now you will get cleaner Facebook profile layout.
