Ubuntu 11.10 Oneiric Ocelot Released : Download Now !

Canonical has released latest Ubuntu 11.10 “Oneiric Ocelot” and I have tested it for few hours already. Download now while it still hot !

Ubuntu 11.10 main interface with Unity bar at the left side of the screen.

Ubuntu Software Center updated with new looks. Very neat and organized compared to old Software Center.

Testing LibreOffice : Word Processor that comes with Ubuntu 11.10.

Ubuntu One : cloud storage for Ubuntu users.

Unity launcher : you can maximize it for full screen experience and I really liking the UI and ease of use.

Ubuntu 11.10 works out of box for me, and I think it should work for most of users too.

I think Canonical did a good job with this release, and it will keep existing and potential Ubuntu users happy right now.

But the main problem why I can’t use Ubuntu as my main OS is due to lack of apps/software. I hope more developers will support Ubuntu, Linux and Open Source software because there are a lof of potentials for many users.
